Hello Monica, this is in regards to the 蠔豉粥. I had recently brought a bag of cooked oyster, product of Japan. It was the only one I can locate from Chinese markets I shopped. It costed $20 for only 10 oz. As you mention they are 色澤鮮明, 肉厚乾身, 氣味香濃, though. According to the 用料 indicated, it’s too expensive for regular use. Would you advise how often to take the 蠔豉粥 in order to be benefited from it? And, any idea where can I find some good products which wouldn’t cost a hand or leg? Thank you,
Hum! I think your 蠔豉粥 should be very tasty. Well! Good 蠔豉 is not cheap. I’d rather purchase it in good quality. Also, you don’t need to put a lot to make 蠔豉粥. For me, I only put 8-10 pieces small 蠔豉 or approx 5 pcs big 蠔豉. Do some shopping in 參茸行, you may find it in lower price or on sales. Enjoy!
