|Brief Description of Activity|
|1||Participate in event sponsored by or on behalf of a community organization relating to career opportunities in broadcasting||On January 16 and 17, 2016, this station employment unit (“SEU”) participated in the Asian American Expo in Pomona, California. SEU representatives disseminated information about careers opportunities in radio broadcasting. SEU participants included the Vice President of Multicultural Radio Broadcasting, Inc.-West Coast, the Personnel Director and a member of the personnel staff.|
Our SEU is proud of its internship program that provides students with hands-on experience in radio broadcasting. During this reporting period our SEU hosted three (3) student interns from the following schools:
•one from Citrus College;
•one from Mt. San Antonio (“Mt. Sac”) College;
•and, one from Biola College.
These interns were supervised by our Program Director and, by working closely with SEU personnel in various departments, learned how to edit audio, host programs, operate the board and produce programming. The students were also encouraged to seek career advice from members of our staff.
